first post!
Hello my loves, I'm back! (I being Laura Volpe :) ) I think I've been away for about a year; I moved to the dark (?) side, Xanga. Most of my Trinity friends have Xanga, whereas my Park Ridge friends have LJ. Go figure.
Today was the last showing of Godspell! It was such a great show, and I had so much fun with my character. Last night after the show Pat and I went to this AMAZING salsa club in Chicago. We had good food, excellent wine and we danced. That's right. Pat Rhine danced, and he was awesome. It was truly a perfect evening.
In other news, I'm almost done with my book, accepted into Domincan and receiving 11,000 dollars a year from them (Dom). Dominican is my first choice school (since I'm going into English Education), so I'm pretty psyched about it. I'm also doing the Golden Apple Scholarship and I am really hoping that I win a space in their progam.
