[Note] Misdirection & Predictability
I hope I'm not predictable to the point of dullness... O.o
I don't bore you guys, do I? I mean, I do know some of my tendencies are fairly easy to guess... We all have patterns of behavior, do we not? But I really hope I'm not so easily charted that you guys grow 'bored' of me... I also hope you don't guess -everything- before it happens (in fics etc). I'd like to think I was capable of surprising you here or there still!
Particularly when it comes to stories, story lines, and fics in general. I hope you're not sitting back going "that was way too easy to guess, La, I'm bored". Because if you are, you really need to speak up. >.> (Pretend my mind reading skills don't work long distance, something, ok?)
Since my main project is so far off my "usual" path I'm trying to throw all kinds of surprises and twists and the like in there... But heavens know if I'm succeeding in interesting and surprising you guys! I might just be confusing and spazztic! This is why I beg for comments and feedback. I like critique (don't tell me it sucks, ok, it'll make me cry and then I'll hate chu) so feel free to give it. Even something as simple as "this didn't work for me because ---" (and yeah, a "why" would be helpful) helps! I want to improve for you guys!! (Not that I get tired of "I love this" comments, because I don't.)
That being said: Not everything is as it seems. I like to employ misdirection, misleading details, only part of the story/ background/ etc, vague info on charas/ appearance/ location... Well, you get the idea right? Yes, some of the vague little details/allusions/etc (and this includes replies to comments and everything) are what you might consider to be 'breadcrumbs' and if you pick them up you'll probably be able to guess at some of the things that are still 'approaching'.
Or you can just kick back and wait for it to happen. Either way, I hope you're enjoying the trip. And I realize this is kinda random, but it was just sort of spawned from someone taking a guess at my motives behind a certain scene... The way things were said kinda made me worry I was too predictable for you guys, or that you were at least under that impression.
Warning: I'm not. If you think so, you're wrong. Hope you're ready for it. ^.~
