OH. MY. GOD.

This is just ASTONISHING.

I love the whole premise, which fits in so beautifully with the fucked-up meta-ness of the movie itself. And it's so wonderfully done--the cover, all the pictures, the court case, the interview at the diner. (I KNEW it was going to have fabulous attention to detail the second I saw that you'd put a BAR CODE on the cover. YES.)

And everyone is just perfect in it. John, oh John--the crackup immediately afterward and the fragile raw shaky recovery now. Pipefitter with his "shit like that," HEE. And most awesome at all is that Billy is defined in this article by his "no comment" status--his strongest statement is his absence, as in the movie his most powerful, his only weapon against or leverage with Joe was having left once already, having the capacity to leave again.

And I love the way the sex or not, consensual or not, question remains ambiguous here.

Really, this is just amazing. I'm stunned and impressed as all hell.

(And a million apologies for not commenting until now; I had a whirlwindy weekend and somehow managed to miss that it had been posted!)

Eep! \o/

I'm so happy you liked it! :D

I geeked out completely with this one, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it (noticing the bar code! *g*)!

And there's absolutely no reason to apologise - RL is a force to be reckoned with - I've been feeling that the last couples of days, too :)
