Good times!
I finished my major this semester. No more Economics EVER AGAIN! It's so weird to start to see these things come full circle, things I began working on so long ago it seems.
The first half of the BNG internship has wrapped up too. I have a pretty decent tape going right now and I plan on subtracting and adding to it this spring so I have a great tape to send out to prosepctive employers in March.
My tape critiques from the news directors have been constructive and encouraging. I have to get my act together and go big or go home in March. I'm ready. It all feels right.
In other news I've been loving being single again. Single works well for me and my situation right now. I'm peacing out in May of next year and probably relocating somewhere brand new. It'll be scary but now's the time to do it.
Kristen, Keri, and I are headed out to Cali over this winter break. Long Beach here we come! I'm pumped becasue I've never been to the west coast and from what I hear it's pretty BAMF. Our stops include Chicago to visit my Disney CP buddy Jack, and also we're gonna chill with our friends Jackie, Joel, and Rob. Then Kristen has some familia in Denver we are visiting. Final stop is Long Beach where Kristen has an apartment lined up because she's going to start school there this spring semester.
I'll be sad to see her go but I'm gonna have to start getting used to moving and saying goodbye to people. This is good practice. I have been so blessed with everything and everyone in my life. I smile just thinking about it all. Everyone has their shit to deal with and I have my share, but lately it's been smooth sailing. I love the people in my life TO DEATH. The friends at the station, the friends from high school, the friends from college, the friends from being a townie, they are all so special and this weekend I feel like I got to see all of them. It was awesome. In the defining moment of the weekend, I was on my roof with Ant, Alyse, and Holland smoking my first cig. We were enjoying the unseasonably warm weather here in Bing and enjoying the sights of downtown, which just happened to be a drug deal out across the street. It was great. One of those "feeling infinate" moments that Perks of Being a Wallflower talks about.
Happy Holidays everyone! It just might be my last one in Bing in the next few years so I'm gonna live it up.
