Lame... mostly
So, for the first time I didn't do anything for Halloween. No costume, no party. It was just another day. I'm actually not too disappointed, but it made me nostalgic. Maybe next year I'll be able to do something fun again. :)
A while back I posted about starting a running program. Well, I've been doing it for I think 8 weeks now. I have seen a lot of improvement and I'm looking forward to more improvement. I'm starting to feel more like myself lately. I have been a little depressed on the job front for Daniel and I, but I think the exercise is a good release from stress right now. It has given me a goal to work toward and in general just something to look forward to. Next week I'll be taking a break from it though...
..Because we're going to visit Lisa in Virginia. We're going to stay with her for a few days and do the tourist thing. It has been a while since I've been to DC. Then Daniel and I are going to a Virginia Teachers Job Fair on November 11. We hope something good will come of it, but I guess we'll see. We're really looking forward to the whole trip.
Next Tuesday Daniel will be going in for substitute teacher training. We hope that he will get called in regularly, but again we'll see how that goes. It kind of sucks when you don't exactly know what to do next. There are a few different options floating around for us, but it's really hard to make the "right" decision when given a few different viable options. Blah. Well, other than that everything is good. I can't believe today is November!
