Ohayocon!
Well, it was pretty damn fun. Here's a break down of the days.
Friday:
- Tsuki woke me up at 4 am so we could leave at 5... don't actually get on the freeway until 6 something.
- Being tired whilst driving is not so good. But we made it there.
- Registration line took a little while. Talked to Nikolai and saw some cool cosplayers.
- Met up with Mae and Lyn, after their much speculating if Tsuki was the person they were looking for.
- Looked around the dealer's room... didn't see anything too interesting. Lots of Naruto stuff though, it was like some kinda plague.
- Took pictures and video of Naruto photoshoot. Lots of fun. Missed the yaoi. ; . :
- Met up with Bekah.
- All of Tsuki's online friends are really cool and fun to hang with!
- Japanese Horror panel was horrible. The guy couldn't pronounce names right to save his life. Left after 5 minutes or so of his talking.
- Wondering around is fun.
- Got lots of pictures.
- Watching Tsuki and Bekah practice was great!
- Went to our hotel rather early, because Tsuki had to be up early the next day. Missed the yaoi panel. ; . ;
Saturday:
- Got back to the convention in time for Tsuki and Bekah to go to their audition.
- Went to dealer's room. Bought a cool Gaara wallet, Lee pin, Itachi pin, Kakashi pin, and things for my friends.
- Wondered around.
- Went to DBZ panel, just because of Scot McNeil.
- Got more pictures.
- HUGE Naruto photoshoot. (Is thinking of being Naruto for Otakon so she can act like herself and still be in character.) Since we're such huge nerds and all, we were thinking that if Tsuki was Haku, Bekah was Sasuke and I was Naruto we'd be the new team 7 that someone made a music video for. Yeah, they cut out Sakura and replace her with Haku, such a cool video. Hmm, only draw back is that I'm taller than both Tsuki and Bekah... and Naruto is shorter... so I'll have to hack off some of my legs.
- Mostly wondered.
- Lined up for Masquerade. Missed Naruto fan panel and Silent Hill panel because of it... but that's ok, because the Masque. was really cool.
- Taped most of the skits. Took lots of pictures, but some didn't turn out good. Missed some pictures because the camera decided not to work sometimes.
- Missed Scot's roast. ; . ;
- Bekah could't stay with us. ; . ;
- Didn't stay for shonen-ai panel.
- Went back to hotel... stayed awake for quite a while... couldn't sleep well.
Sunday:
- Checked out
- Didn't get to go to autograph signing thing... *shakes fist at Tsuki, but still loves her anyway*
- Wondered around with Kakashi-sensei. Lots of fun!
- Yeah, mostly wondered today.
- Watched Tsuki kick around a Kakahi plushie.
- The evil Sunday curse of Ohayocon struck.
So yeah, I missed any and all yaoi related things.... except looking at some manga and doujin. But that doesn't count since I can do that on a computer.
