Quilt!
So a few weeks back, my mom and sister went to a convention where Ricky Tims showed them a bunch of fun things to do with quilts and hand-dyed fabrics. Yesterday, we all got together with Martine and tried out convergence quilts. They turned out to be super easy. Mine was the most boring of the lot, IMO, and my mom's was truly beautiful, but I forgot my camera so I'll have to get a picture next time I visit.
Anyway, here's mine:
It still needs borders and actual quilting to be done, but I'm pretty proud of myself. They may have mocked me for taking so long at cutting but my lines were almost perfectly straight the whole time.
Of course, I dreamed about picking out the fabric for another one last night so I really want to sew instead of going to work... Pity I'm all responsible now, and stuff.
