One of the images I sent to designsingapore for the scholarship publicity next year and upon the request of davie, I'm posting it.

The site I chose for my project last year is an existing water lock structure that regulates the local drainage basins surrounding the River Po in Italy. Seen on the horizon this infrastructure offers the highest ground in the region. By 2050 this lock system is expecetd to be overwhelmed by storm surges and flooding from breaches of the canal systems. Exploring the notions of an archive and local museum, I adopted Peter smithson's stratey for the Library of Alexandria of lifting. Thus, the project follows the attenuated infrastructural forms and uses of the existing concrete bases of the lock workings as the foundations for my proposal.

Check this out Li-Chuan's Incalcando

It's Li-Chuan's composition. He is a genius!!!
We are looking at working on a collaboration... I can't wait to be back home again!
