It might be worth it to make a post on http://fem-metalheads.livejournal.com/, if you're a member there. People have sold metal t-shirts there successfully before.
Becca gave me an idea - I may like to turn some of the XLs into fitted dresses and the like. Can I have a few to experiment on? If they work, I'll wear them around. Not that picky as to bands, as I'll be cutting them up. Will be more than happy to pay for them.
I gave you that idea? I feel proud, even though I have no recollection. I have also thought of turning some of the busier ones that don't lend themselves to being cut into tiny tank tops into miniskirts because my ass is way bigger than my upper torso, but not sure how I feel yet about wearing band logos on my butt. :D
Well, it all depends on how fancy you want to get. You can have the shiny design on the front, and use another material for the back and therefore no logobutt.
Yup - you did! It wasn't due to any specific conversation. Instead, I'd see your creations at shows and such, and think 'that looks great!' And I'm motivated to try something like that myself, to wear around on the weekends and at shows and such. My sewing skills are horrid, but I can just call it 'art'. AHRT.
My sewing skills are absolutely awful. That's why all my shirts are either super tight or have grommets and laced together at the sides. I cut too much fabric, or not enough, or in the wrong place, or whatnot. If you end up with something too revealing for your comfort level you can always put layers underneath. I don't, but that's because I'm shameless. :D

Though I think I might save that for the shirts that are worth selling.

I'll probably aim more towards too much fabric than not enough, but still. Attempts at Cute Dress Time.
