I am such a nerd...
I'm sitting here, drinking a margarita, watching a "Girls Next Door" marathon on E! I am so going to pop culture whore hell. Guilty pleasure or just lame? Okay, okay...lame. *sigh* If any of you have ever seen the show (highly unlikely, I'm assuming), doesn't the stupid one just crack you up? I seriously have to ask myself how anyone can be that dumb. The other two girls aren't stupid, just ditzy. Anyway, I think I've spent enough time on this subject... ;)
Gabe had his two month check-up today. He weighs 12 lbs. 14 oz. now! Hooray for boob juice! He got his shots. *tear* A necessary evil, I know, but it was awful...he let out this howl of pain and (it seemed to me) utter betrayal. I nursed him right after, and that seemed to help. It was so sad, though. He's only been a little fussy tonight, though. I think keeping him dosed with Tylenol has helped. Hopefully we'll have a little boy who feels better in a couple of days, though.
I should be getting the new sling I ordered tomorrow! Jan Andrea at http://www.sleepingbaby.net is the bomb diggity. :D (Yes, I just said "bomb diggity"...I seriously need a life.) I'm really excited to get my sling...it's linen, so that will be nice for summer. I already have a silk sling in mind that I want to order...jeesh, I'm so addicted to baby carriers. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to. :D
I've not been up to much lately, just taking care of the beebs, spending time prowling the boards at http://thebabywearer.com, reading fun chick lit by Jennifer Weiner (another guilty pleasure), and feeling bittersweet about maternity leave coming to an end.
So...some random thoughts:
Ann Coulter is SCARY.
The Soup (on E!) is FUNNY.
My baby is teh COOL.
My hubby is ROCKIN'.
I am MENTAL.
My friends RULE!
