It's no fun...
...when you can't hear. Or something like it. I have a really bad ear infection in my left ear. Yay. Stupid ear. *pffft* I went to the doctor today for my regular appointment and told him about it (the pressure and the pain), and he said I had the infection and prescribed me a Z-Pack so's I can get better. Go, Dr. Wu! He also told me that I can have Tylenol Sinus and Benadryl to help with the symptoms until the infection goes away. This is very good b/c it was starting to hurt really bad. :( Now maybe tonight at work, I'll actually be able to hear people on the phone when I take crisis calls instead of asking them to repeat themselves, like I had to last night - no good for crisis calls.
Other than that, my appointment was pretty standard...weight (I *still* haven't gained any; don't know why. It's not like I'm *not* eating like a starving horse, lol.), BP (112/74 *cheers*), temp, etc, etc. Jamie scanned me, and Lowell was with me, so he got to see the little pee-pee!! *grins* He was being a grumpster (Lowell, not the beebs) b/c he had to get up early. Oh, boo-freaking-hoo. I got up two hours before he did b/c I also had to do my 1-hour glucose test today, and had to go to the doctor's office early to drink the fun sugar stuff (which wasn't really that bad, by the way...kind of like flat Sprite, but then again, I can't really taste a lot of stuff right now b/c of my congestion, but whatev. :p), and we went to bed at the same time, although it took me about an hour longer than him to fall asleep b/c of my stupid ears! Ugh. Boys.
Which...is why I'm going to go take a little siesta before work so I can function tonight. I'll let everyone know how my test turns out b/c I know you'll all be squirming with anticipation. :D
