So the bill passed for civil unions and will be effective January 1, 2008. Woot! Score 1 for Lynch. But they also passed a smoking ban which will be effective before Labor Day. Which is fine, whatever but now instead of swarms of people smoking inside they will flock to the entry way to smoke outside.
