remarkable.
They might be giants came to pasadena, to a bookstore five minutes from my house, and i
have proof.
There was a book signing after the free show (45 minute or so show. I took some quicktime movies of it on my camera. (and we got it tape-recorded too- thanks to mom for that.)), so I bought a book, and sure enough, they signed it. I was going to get something signed for my sister,
off_coloratura, who I basically credit with getting me INTO all things TMBG, but i decided she'd rather
have this. (warning: 2 Mb .mov file)
the show was fun, but very informal. 150- 250 people, I think. In shows like these, I always enjoy the music, but i live for the
witty banter between songs (uhh, yeah. this one's an 11.1 MB movie of banter and cyclops rock)
Though I have yet to hear the recording we got, if it's any good I'll mp3 it. Since my camera evidently has a shitty mic for recording any music that I don't want to sound shrill, I hope the tape came out well. It'd be nice to have that in the car on the ipod.
I took a few other pictures and quicktime movies, but havent yet looked through them or compressed them. Many thanks to The Johns for the show tonight.
