I am very thankful that I flew back yesterday and not today. There was a 4 hour delay in Newark, plus all of the beefed up security and stuff.
However, my very close friend here was supposed to be on on of the targeted flights from Heathrow to JFK...she is supposed to fly back this weekend, which according to the news/police was when the terrorists were supposed to blow up the planes. Thank goodness they wre stopped...but its still really really scary to think of what would have happened had they not caught this guys since they got so close to actually getting on the planes today.
