037 ((backdated a little))
It seems this last week has been very... busy, for lack of a better word. I would suggest either "exciting" or "dangerous" as well, but those don't seem to really cover the week as a whole. I'm still not too sure what to think. But for the most part, it seems everything is back to normal. Relatively speaking. I simply hope nothing like that happens again. Unfortunately knowing this school, I have a feeling it will.
From first hand experience, I know both Lugia and Vashta were affected. From what I've heard other people say, Blacky and Nyx were as well? This... is rather unsettling. All four of them are Pokemon, and half of them are dark types. It makes me wonder why I wasn't affected as well. But perhaps what is worse is that I couldn't sense the dark aura emanating from them before it was too late. It was only after the fact that I realized something was wrong.
But I think worst of all, I could not even properly defend myself. I ended up fleeing both times after taking quite a beating. Although I have a few bruises, what hurts most is my pride. Fighting was completely ineffectual. I'm... not as strong as I thought I was. Those instances were real eye openers.
... Perhaps I should frequent the gym more often.
