Things that are making me happy today

1. bethbethbeth and I snagged tickets for the World Premiere of Clark Gregg's new movie, Trust Me, at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2 1/2 weeks. I was so excited to be able to be caught up with everyone else, but, yes, waiting for part 2 of those two-parters is going to be hard. Such a tough life. ;D

We saw the first two specials on BBC America that included an episode with each of the first two doctors, but otherwise I haven't seen anything prior to Nine. I actually don't mind cheesy special effects when the source is old. It sends me over the edge with newer things which is why I was pleased to see the updates to the villains/tardis as new Who went along. I have less patience for tedium. If I find myself getting bored as I watch the classic Who I'll likely do what you did and watch a few episodes from each Doctor and skip the rest.

Ah, wank. I have different levels of tolerance/interest in wank depending on the situation. And spoilers never ruin anything for me so I don't mind accidentally running across them.

I appreciate the link. I don't think I'm quite ready for the fandom yet, but I always enjoy interesting discussion and can scroll when it gets too wanky.
