Cake or Pie?
Such a tough decision, isn't it? Well, now apparently you don't have to choose!
My dear flist, I bring you the Cherpumple which is three layers of pies baked in cake:
In this case, it appears we have pumpkin pie baked in yellow cake, cherry pie baked in chocolate cake, and apple pie baked in what looks to be spice cake, all wrapped in delicious French butter cream.
Calorie count? Who cares?

Just looking at these pics, I can feel my blood sugar skyrocketing, and I have a strong urge to unbutton my jeans. Well, okay, I'm wearing comfy sweatpants at the moment, but IF I was wearing jeans right now, I totally would!
Right now my arse is enjoying the comforts of my computer chair, and I'm still drinking my morning coffee - "morning" being subjective time today - but eventually I will get said arse in gear so I can go meet up with thistlerose in NYC. I think we'll go see the Muppet movie, because hey - it's not like the movie theaters are going to be crowded today or anything. :-P We will NOT be eating Cherpumple though! (I'm never eating again. STILL full!)
Hope all of my fellow Americans enjoyed their Thanksgiving days! I was at my sister's, and it was a lovely day with the family. Also, my niece started reading the Trixie Belden books I'd bought for her two years ago, and she loves them! Yay! \o/ (I'd only bought her the first three, so I brought over the other 36 for her. In a big box.)
*yawn* I'm so tired today!! Maybe I should make some more coffee. (*Note: Coffee is not food. It is the nectar of the Gods. Which is completely different and clearly a bare necessity of life, and Baloo and Mowgli would totally agree if they'd ever had any. They would also agree with my adverb abuse in expressing these sentiments, because coffee is a magical substance that renders all adverb controversies moot.) But that would entail getting my arse out of this comfy computer chair.
