Dear Self:
PLZ to be remembering that small gifts means SMALL. Not smallER than what you might normally write for, say, Smutmas. Or a Big Bang fic. Seriously - WTF? You started off with a fairly small idea (which, okay, would have been slightly longer than 3K) but now you've more than doubled that!
And no, we are NOT writing that bit that I know you're thinking of because you will NOT submit a fic to a fest entitled SMALL GIFTS that is longer than a single post. I'm putting my foot down, dammit! I'm not letting you write that bit either!

P.S. - No, it would NOT be a good idea to just add that teeny little bit there, because I know you, and "teeny little bit" = a good 1,000 words or more. Now finish the damn story already!

Oh! Geminid meteor shower Sunday night! Throw on a few layers, grab a warm blanket and a thermos of your favorite hot beverage, and go have a gander! After 9 p.m. or so, radiating from the east. Peak viewing is expected to be 5 a.m. GMT, which is midnight Eastern, 9 p.m. Pacific. Apologies to those in the Southern Hemisphere. :)
