Chapter 7: (strange) how certain the journey )
A number of people have remarked about that dystopic future and wanting to know more about it, but since my main protagonist wasn't a part of it in this story, there wasn't any way to really elaborate any more than I did. Harry died and Voldemort won, and what brought it about was that, since Sirius was free during the 'new' GoF year, he was there at the Third Task and with Harry, and so Crouch-Moody was never able to get him alone and reveal his charade. The real Moody remained a captive (and eventually died) and Crouch was able to infiltrate the Order, and since Harry and Sirius both trusted him (Moody) more than they ever trusted Snape, he was able to do enough damage to defeat them.
The way it stands, Teddy stopped Crouch when he came back, so now the future is an uncertainty. It wouldn't be the same dystopia Teddy went back to find, but it also wouldn't be the 'original' future that he came from either. There have been enough changes now that Teddy can't really risk going back to the future again, mostly because he can't be sure that this new timeline will even lead to his being born as he was in the other two. So he has to stay, and at the very least, try to help guide things so that Harry wins. As Dumbledore said to him, by returning to the past, he has very possibly sacrificed his own life, because even if Remus and Tonks have a child now, would that child even be him? :-P Yay paradox! :-P
Thanks so much for reading and for commenting as you went along! I'm glad I was able to throw in a few things that kept you surprised. :-P And I'm really glad you liked it!
(And as for whether there'll be more, I'm thinking about it, yes, and if I can do justice to a sequel (because OMG! SO many things are different!) then yes, I will continue the story.)

Anyway, as for the sequel, I'd say if you've got good ideas go for it, but if not it's best to let it lie. Best of luck!
