I Feel Like Some Really Important Person...
Well, haven't updated in forever...so here's what's going down with me as of RIGHT NOW:
Lots of homework to do, including reading/writing the essay for Prayer For Owen Meany which is a real good book and all it's just SO hard to get myself motivated. Yesterday, I shot my first ever short film entitled "A Decomposing Relationship". (Shout out to Rachel, Neeka, Dylan, and Luis for their help!) One sentence synopsis: A girl talks to another girl about her relationship with her new boyfriend, who happens to be a Zombie. It felt kind of cool directing it; it felt like a real production. Full on screenplay, real equipment (microphones, dolly, etc.), and an awesome Director of Photography (once again, thanks Luis!). Now I just have to edit the son-ofa-bitch by thursday.
Bullet to the Brain.
Tuesday makes 9 months for Gioia and I. We probably won't really do anything out of the norm simply because there's no time. Why you might ask? Because of this stupid play I'm in titled "Uh-oh! Here Comes Christmas!" (More like "Oh Shit! Here comes 'Uh-oh! Here Comes Christmas!'") At present it is quite possibly the worst thing I've ever been in, not to mention the play itself is just overly cheesy. I can handle some moderate cheese, but this is ridiculous! Whatever; it's pretty much the only REAL grade in theatre this six weeks.
But other than the parts that suck, things have been going pretty well. Gioia is amazing (as usual), school isn't TOO rough (though there are times when I want to just run away and live in the woods), and Christmas time is upon us! Speaking of which: I'll most likely be down in S.A. for X-mas, and if things go right Gioia will be coming too. Just have to pass it by everybody and make sure nobody objects. Coolness.
