My Month
So it's taken me forever to post this crap... I apologize.. I've been busy.
So I guess I should post about the honeymoon..
We went to a cute little bed and breakfast. It snowed our first morning there. It was awesome. So very pretty. Since it snowed they had chain restrictions when you entered Yosemite. So we couldn't go into the park the first two days. Finally we went and bought chains, but our last day there they lifted the chain restrictions. The first two days we went to some nearby towns and went shopping in the antique/collectible shops. Got some neat stuff. Went into Yosemite the last day we were there. I took lots of pictures. It's so beautiful. I had never seen a waterfall before. We also had the greatest breakfast in the world all week. Mike wants me to start making him breakfast like that. I told him I will when we move. That way I have my own kitchen to cook in. Cooking in someone else's kitchen is just not as fun. Anyway we are hoping to go back to yosemite for my birthday. And Jenn's birthday (just a month late).
Mike and I went and looked at the apartments we want to move to. They are so nice. And the model we want has a fireplace and it is so roomy. It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. With washer/dryer hookups. The dining room is seperate, it's not part of the living room like in most apartments. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets. The master bedroom actually has two closets. One walk-in and one regular one. Both bathrooms have linen closets.
Spent Thanksgiving at my parent's house. Food was yummy... Especially my Dad's smoked turkey.
Went to Joe's house on Friday night. It was an interesting night. Not much different than any other get together.
Saturday Mike and I did a little Christmas shopping for Jayd. And then went to Disneyland. It was fun we bought pins and traded lots of pins. Then Jenn met us out there. The three of us went and ate at The French Market in the rain. Mike was sitting under the umbrella, but his hood got filled with water. Since our jackets are water proof he had like a glass of water just sitting in his hood. It was funny. Jenn dumped it out before he decided to put his hood on. We then went to Pooh Corner to buy a cookie. Went on Haunted Mansion, went on Star Tours, we were going to go on indiana jones, but the line was still like an hour long. We watched fireworks. At some point in the middle of all that Jenn and I bought postcards that you can color. Mike and I also bought candy. Peanut Brittle and Fudge. Yum! Then we went home.
