Dress Fitting
So I thought when you go for a dress fitting that your dress is suppose to be made. Aparently I know nothing. I waited when I got there because my Mom was on her way. So the lady comes out with material and says.. Oh... you have to pick which shade of champagne you want. So at this point i'm very confused. My dress was suppose to be made. Everything but the zipper on back. This is what I was told in March when I ordered the dress. You think they could do this is 5 months. But no... She tells me.. Oh you only try on the dress lining today, then you come back again and try on the dress. So I go over to pick out the color of the champagne material and it's not right. They have a completely different material. I ordered bridal satin. Jenn said the material they had is raw silk. My receipt clearly says bridal satin. So they fucked up. This is the only good part about the fact that they hadn't made my dress yet. Anyways, Jenn helped me get into the corset. That is one difficult thing to do. Then we do the fitting with the liner and everything.
I just hope that it turns out ok. I have less than two months for it to be right. I go back for an actual fitting for the dress on September 8. What fun. I go to the dentist on September 7 then a fitting on the 8th.
My sisters go for their fitting on the 18th of September. The first week of September I also start going to get my manicure and pedicure every couple weeks till the wedding. And Mike's mom said she would pay for that and to have my legs waxed up until the wedding. Then after the wedding I get to pay for it myself if I still want to do it.
We also talked about my hair today and the night before the wedding. I'm thinking of getting a hotel room the night before the wedding for my sisters and I to stay in that is close to the mansion. That way we won't have to be far since we can get there at one and have the room to start getting ready in. Fun times. There is a lot more thought to all this going on in my brain, but I don't feel like talking about it.
