It started one night when Tyler showed up at nearly eleven pm, just wanting to talk. Jeremy had been baffled at first, but it became a nightly routine. Some nights they'd sit on his bedroom floor, lean back against his bed, and just talk; some nights, they'd just sit.
Jeremy knew tonight was going to be different the second he opened the door for Tyler. He wasn't sure what had changed, but something had and it became painstakingly obvious when Tyler sat on the bed with him.
It was Tyler that kissed him. There was a desperation to it that Jeremy would never expect from Tyler. Tyler was kissing him like his life depended on it - and maybe it did - like he had nothing left - and maybe he didn't. Jeremy doesn't remember what happens after that, but he wakes up with Tyler curled up to his side fast asleep, both of them fully clothed.
