(no subject)
It's amazing how when someone you barely know or someone you don't know at all gives you a compliment on your appearance, it means so much. Like the other night, Kim said that she only hangs out with hot people, and Jordan pointed at me and responded "Yeah I know, she's a hottie." And then last night at Fluids, some random girl came up to me and told me that I was the prettiest girl in the bar and that I was simply gorgeous. Wow...two compliments in one weekend...I'm set for the next year.
The Good Highlights of the weekend:
-Kim bringing home a surprise guest...Mr. Munchies (aka Jordan)
-watching the "Travels in Europe" scene from Rules of Attraction, even though Kim and Stacey had to turn away because the speed of the clips made them sick
-watching South Park and Kid Notorious, where (believe it...it's true) both Air Supply and Lionel Richie were featured.
-Stacey fitting into the disgarded entertainment center on the back porch and performing "the Stacey show"
-munching on Jew food with Jordan, who proceeded to eat three sheets of Matzoh, two bagel and a burrito (we're breaking him into the mafia slowly)
The Not So Good Highlights of the weekend:
-watching the unnecessary and simply revolting PDA between a wannabe playa and a Wendy from South Park lookalike
-annoying "Film/art" students making a "movie" at Fluids...basically a dramatization of the "how many art students does it take to plug in a light bulb," although in this case it was hold a flashlight instead of plugging in a light bulb
-the bittersweetness of making a new friend (for reasons that I am not obliged to divulge) :(
-getting choked up at Fluids when Mike was singing some love song about "searching lips".....damn you stupid boys!!!
