Heads up! The stork is coming!!
Yesterday evening when I was surfing the net (in my DORM room), my friend Ashley IMed me to my surprise. She doesn't have computer access on a regular basis, so to see her online was quite a shock. Anyway, after we made the proper salutations, I asked how her last OBGYN appointment was. A couple of weeks ago, Ashley went into premature labor and had to be placed on medicine to prevent that from happening again, and was also sentenced to bedrest. So back to the story. She said that the appointment went well and Layla's lungs are now fully developed. She can stop taking the medicine tomorrow (now today) and is expecting to have the baby anytime from thursday on. I am sooo excited! It doesn't even seem that long since she called me telling me that she was pregnant. Boy time flies! So yeah...everyone pray for an uncomplicated birth...oh and short labor!
