Home for the holidays

Well after taking my English exam which took almost the entire three hours, Lindsey, Brent, Jimmy and I headed home to A-town. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to say goodbye to Julia in person, but the phone call was a decent substitute. (Julia, I hope you feel better!!!!)

OH, I almost forgot! I got an A on my English paper! My professor handed me the paper after I turned in my exam. At first I was a bit afraid to look at it. Yet the anticipation was too much for me to handle and I eagerly flipped through the pages until I found my grade. I nearly fell down the stairs in Maybank when I saw the beautiful, bold blue A written on the work cited page! I had to immediately clost the page and wait until I was outside to look at it again. Once outside, I returned to the page and quickly read the note Dr. Tursi left for me. I would copy it for all to read if I had the paper next to me. Alas, I do not, but all that was said was good. I felt a little dumb after looking over my errors, which were simple citing errors and poor proof-reading (I have never been good at that!! I am far to impatient!)

Well okay, I am back in Aiken and for the love of all that is good, I cannot fall asleep. I think Brian and I are going to go driving around or something...he can't fall asleep either. I would think after all the cramming and studying I have done in the past week, I would be sleeping like a baby! Oh well.

Argghh...I get my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday. I'm not nervous or scared...I just don't want it done. I don't want to be knocked out for two days when all my friends are going to be coming home. I know I have all break to see them, but for real!

Michaelangelo is getting to be sooo cute...not that he wasn't cute already, but now he is simply adorable!

Oh and one more thing..."Comfortable" by John Mayer = the best song EVER!

If I don't get a chance to write before then (which I probably will...who am I kidding, it's Aiken!), happy holidays to everyone!!!
