wishing for the stars
ok, sitting in the cool summer's night atmosphere really puts perspective in the break between reality and me. stars keep me company while the moths dance in the light in my eyes. i wish for fireflies and endless skies that last forever. by the end of summer i will venture out and witness my all time dream, to see a meteor shower, thats my goal.
as far as reality goes, the house is in transformation in preparation for my aunts arrival to lemon grove, everything is getting cleaner and my room is now cleaner and more open than ever. i've boxed away memories of high school and years before that and i feel so much better. moving forward does not exist without looking back upon the past, and believe me, with all the time i have spent dwelling in my past life, i better be moving forward at a steady pace! it feels so good to let go, but so much better knowing that holding on is all in your power ^_^
now going back to the night skies, getting a moon tan and dancing with night crickets that sing and serenade outside my open window
