Holy tanlines, Batman. I kind of got a sunglass tanline this weekend at County Fair, and it's kind of funny, because they're big sunglasses. I've got a face to wear the really big Dolce & Gabbanas, so... No 'Rudolph' comments, please. But it was absolutely awesome to be back and seeing all the 4-H kiddos after my college/aged out hiatus. You can be in 4-H until your 4-H age is 18, age being how old you are on January 1st of that year. So I'm technically 19 by their standards, and one year too old. Boo.
I got to see all the kiddos I know, and Katelyn (a.k.a. "Little sister") totally cleaned up. It was awesome to see her and Maverick together, they've been hauling up to Mark's practically every other day for lessons, and it totally shows. Mavi was an absolute gentleman the entire show, and had the nicest Horsemanship and Western Riding patterns I've seen out of most of the classes that day. So whoo! I'm still crazy excited that she did so well.
Send good thoughts my way Thursday afternoon, this little girl named Jordan is going to come look at my horse, and I know this would be a really, really nice home for him. She would show him in 4-H and open (She's only 11), and call him Prince Charming and all that cute stuff. Gotta pay for college somehow, which sucks but it's a reality I've known about since I got into the business.
Additionally, I will be up at school in less than a week. So I should be reading this thing more often, since Panera will not so completely own my life. Only part of the time. Dave will own the other part, and we'll be traveling all over judging horses. Muah-ha-ha!
