Work Ramblings.....
Last night was my first night at the downtown location. It was slooooooow. Tips sucked. This wouldn't bother me so much, but it's twice the mileage, and takes me almost 30 minutes to get there, as opposed to a 10 minute commute at the heights location. With the way gas prices are, I'm not sure this is going to be advantageous for me or not. Sounds like it won't be.
Today, the lunch shift was much better, and tips were also very good. I figure two weeks should give me a more concise picture of things yet to come. Plus, my shift, hours, and days off have been *tweaked* and will continue to be fine tuned for the next week or so, (I hate that) until they get a better idea of when they will really be needing me. I don't know if I should be disgruntled or not yet, but I miss the other gang. I had just gotten to know most of them. *whine*
Blah, blah, blah. Yes, I know I will get over it...but right now, I am not amused.
