Boy, time flies when you're doing nothing. I've been home for a month, and have done basically nothing productive.
I decided I needed a hobby, decided to take up beading, and promptly spent over $75 on supplies. I've forbidden myself to buy any more beads unless I make money selling stuff. The deal I've made with myself is that I've spent $75, and now any money I make from beading can feed back into beading, but no more out of pocket. I've made four necklaces so far, and, while they didn't exactly require a great deal of skill to make, they're all pretty decent. After I've made a few more I'll probably post pictures here and see if anyone wants to buy one. Or commission one. That would be even more awesome, because I'd be getting paid to go buy more beads and make more necklaces.
I still haven't received a Knox financial aid package for next year. Last year, they sent them out mid-June. I also haven't gotten a contract for "Erased," which is supposed to come out in the fall, unless they changed their minds about which issue to put it in, which is definitely a possibility. *twiddles thumbs*
