I just realized that I hadn't updated yet today, and seeing as I'm now consciously going for the goal of updating every single day in a month, I thought I'd better do one right quick.
Today I was made the moderator of the brand new community westerfeldfans, for fans of the YA author Scott Westerfeld. If you're a fan, you should join! And if you've never read any of Scott Westerfeld's books, you need to. I'd recommend Uglies to start (my review here).
I also created a feed for Avalon's blog, avalonblog, if anyone cares.
I watched Donnie Darko tonight, and all I have to say is: "WTF?" I don't get it. I really liked parts of it, but...WTF?
When the movie was over, I realized I'd forgotten to approve my online timecard for work, which I can't do from my computer, so I had to trek down to the computer lab. Some highschoolers are having their prom in the student union, and I was really confused for a few minutes about all the formally dressed teenagers walking down the hall. I felt conspicuously underdressed. I wonder if any Knox students crashed the prom. I mean, it's in the same building as about half of the first year guys. And it's a Saturday night, so a goodly number of them are quite drunk.
Ah, life. I wish it'd pick up a little; it makes for pretty boring livejournal entries. :P
