Well. I'm back in glorious Galesburg. I woke up at 6:00 this morning, and got to my dorm at 9:00 this evening. It's now 10:12 and I'm planning to be asleep by 11.

I have to wake up earlier this term than I did last term. I have work at 9:15 three days a week. It was four days a week, but today I was e-mailed. The gist of the e-mail was this: "Would you pleasepleaseplease switch your 9:15 Tuesday shift at the gross library for the 8-10pm Tuesday shift at the fantastic library? PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU." Needless to say, I accepted the trade. So that's one less day of waking up early.

However, I have only two options if I drop my philosophy class, and one of them meets at 9:20 four days a week and the other is supposed to be really hard. *headdesk* Ah, well, I enjoyed my one term of being able to sleep all morning.

Oh, crap. A fire alarm already?

...Well, that actually worked out quite nicely. I got to talk to Sarah, who took my trains all the way from St. Paul but somehow managed to not see me. She even said she was looking. I don't believe her. Because I actually made eye contact with her in St. Paul and said hi. Well. I guess maybe I believe her, because it was 7:00 in the morning, and she had had a longer drive than me to get to the station, which means she'd probably been awake since 5. Sarah and her suitemates had ordered a pizza, which came while we were all milling around outside, and she gave me a slice, I believe in apology for not seeing me. And since all I'd eaten all day was a granola bar, three cookies, a rice cake, and two oatmeal creme pies, that was pretty awesome.

ALSO, I got my hair cut on Saturday, and since I got back I think five people have told me it looks nice.

I was feeling a little bit sad, because I have no friends to hang out with anymore, but since I've now been greeted by several people outside my suite, I feel much better about my social standing. *cough*

And now it's time to go to sleep and have happy dreams, because I have to wake up at 8:30 tomorrow. Or earlier, actually, because Keegan has a first period class so he and Hayley will probably end up waking me up. At least I might wake up early enough to eat breakfast this term? : /
