Just a short post.
Dear Reader(s),
So yeah... I'm trying to get residents to sign up for this dinner that my RFL's are having for a certain major... and the signups are going dishearteningly. I went around about 2 or 3 weeks ago and asked the people on the list if they would be interested in going. 7 out of 12 said they'd go and the remaining five I didn't get to ask b/c they were out. So today I went around w/ the sheet that they needed to sign... 3 out of 8 have signed... :( apparently the people who I didn't contact have classes at that time or are just "busy". I understand that... But one of the guys who said 2 weeks ago that he'd be interested in going changed his mind. Just said he'd probably be doing stuff. I really hope I get more people signed up b/c I anticipated that at least half of the people who weren't in would have wanted to go. I told the RFL's that I had like 9-10 people signed. I was anticipating that the 7 who said they'd come would sign and then two or three (half) of the ones I didn't contact would want to go. It's a free Catered dinner! Not dining hall food... I don't know why they don't want to go... *sigh* oh well. I hope the rest of the sign-ups go well...
