I made it.
A nostalgic thought brought me back here for something and I ended up reading entries from 12 years ago, nascent to transition, so raw and vulnerable and getting fucking pummeled by the world.
In the last 12 years I’ve worked *hard* and I’ve learned how to be internally resourced, to not need anyone more than myself to feel valid, and I’ve carved out a very good life for myself. I just wanted to pop in to tell the rest of the story. At least of my transition. Here’s to all the rest.
But for now a little quiet love note from me to a younger me: you made it.
