(no subject)
What a day!
The ever-lovely +/- list:
- Got up at 8am to go to the lab
+ Worked 9-12 (even though most of that time was spent in the mouse room)
- Smelled like mice. And mice pee. Bah.
+ 3 hour lunch break (showered, read, relaxed)
+ Worked 3-6 (Boo-yah, did 40 samples :) )
+ Tasty dinner with Joel (forget the name of the place, but we'll have to go back!)
+ Drove around Ann Arbor & Saline (got the grand tour of Downtown, haha), stopped by and 'toured' the new high school, drove through rich neighborhoods and drooled over gorgeous houses
+/- Million Dollar Baby - really good movie, but it made me get all teary (dunno if Joel noticed, haha. I don't enjoy the whole 'crying in front of people' thing, yo.).
So today was good! Even though I'm bummed that I'm not around to see everyone, I'm glad that I came back to Ann Arbor early. Yesterday wasn't that grand (spent a lot of time doing homework and playing Star Wars, although I did go to dinner with the girls)... but today was. Tomorrow should be good too... work in the morning, lab meeting in the early afternoon (oh how I like getting paid to go sit in on meetings, haha), some more homework, then perhaps watchin' Troy up on North Campus. But if I'm to get to the lab early, I should be off to bed.
