I really need to stop going forever without updating this thing. Not that it's on anyone's must-read list, haha :-P. Things have been.... quite crazy lately. Quite an emotional rollercoaster, if you'll pardon the over-used expression. Class has been absolutely insane . This 18 credits thing - though the classes really shouldn't be that tough, for they're mostly intro classes - is quite tough. Between quizzes and papers and exams (yes, already barely made it through the first round of exams), in addition to the time at the lab, I'm going insane.
But I'll deal with it. After all, this is what college is all about, right? Seeing how much stress you can take before you snap? And seeing how long you can go without a decent amount of sleep before you burnout? And don't forget, dealing with drama until your head explodes. Despite all that, I still <3 U of M, haha.
Alas, already I'm not in the mood to continue this entry. I suppose I'll resort to a lovely +/- list of my life as of late, in no particular order:
+ Finished with exams
+ Finished english paper (20'ish % of grade)
+ Got an A- on said paper
- Didn't do so swell on exams
+Saw Rent
+ Went with Dave to see his brother's band (forget their name, tho they were good)
+ Got tickets for Gavin Degraw
+ Signed for room with Amy, we're officially roommates for next year
+ Received letter to move onto second round of Peer Mentor Selection
+/- Have interview for said position next week, kinda terrified
+ Home for the weekend
- Home for the weekend. haha.
- Ueberbored, which someone else was home to hang out with. Really don't feel like staying home tonight.
-/+ Strong urge to go out and drink the night away. Had this feeling a lot lately, should perhaps succomb to the urge.
+/- Need to do a lot of homework before Monday, but no motivation.
+ Went shopping with Dad and Katie today
+ Bought some lovely stuff
- Monday is V-Day. Ah well. I'm not angry, just jealous? Perhaps.
+ This is going to be a good catch-up week
- I have a lot to catch up.
- The week after will be hellish, with the next Bio exam coming up and next paper due
- Annoying headache. And not feeling wonderful. Bah.
+ Getting over 12 hours of sleep last night
- Feeling detached from the entire world. Haha.
+ Have my own room, now that Esther moved out.
And now, I think I'll to work on some reading for Eng125 or Bio162. Yes indeed, another exciting Saturday night spent at home, alone, working on homework. Life is grand. Or something.
