Last week was a bad week for me.
First off I got sick and felt like utter crap for three days. At the same time though, I managed to get out of a bunch of topic tests and an English performance that is worth absolutely nothing towards my grade. On the downside my class received an English Assessment on one of the days I was stuck at home and by some miracle I now have it, when really I don't want to deal with this shit right now. I have two other assignments and a few more on the way and half yearly exams in three freaking weeks! Gah! Why teachers, why?
On a decidely much nicer note, I finally decided to check out what Being Human is all about. Of course I had to do things the proper way by starting out with the original pilot that aired last year. Now it usually takes a good twenty minutes into something before I give my judgement, but I was hooked and enjoying BH straight away. [Good work writers/producers! You're doing your job well XD] Obviously the next thing I did was search the net in a frenzy for a download source, which I found! [yay me! I'm happy to share/post the download link here for anyone interested.]
I think George is my favourite character at the moment, though I can completely relate with Annie's being noticed thing and Mitchell is some great eye candy I suppose. The fact that there is actual PLOT in this supernatural/drama [yes, I'm looking at you Twilight. Seriously, do not let me get started on the book/movie] and isn't completely cliche works in it's favour. Add the great interaction between characters and it makes for a great show with a lot of promise.
