(no subject)
A co-worker complained about me to the SC today. I'm not in trouble but I am still worried about it. Apparently she did not feel I was working while at the U-Scan with her. I am so used to running all 10 machines by myself that I usually ignore the other person, but since she was actually working on her side, what we call "the 6 pack" - the six 20 items or less, and concentrated my attention on the "4 pack" of long-order U-scans. The SC said to me "you do know that when you are logged into only one side of U-scan you should still work both sides, right?" DUH! Most of the time I am down there at busy times all by myself! I spent my entire time down there today doing Age Checks and helping people with coupons, the only time I was standing at the podium was to process checks - I had three checks to process! I was only down there for 15 mins anyway! The woman who complained has worked at Meijer for a long time, but she's not one who usually complains much. I try to work very hard at work, and this complaint is really bothering me.
In other news, my baby sister had her gallbladder out this morning. (Well, technically yesterday morning, 3-24).
Also, "It Takes My Child..." is in less than 30 days and I'm not feeling very prepared.
