The Deathtrap overheated and broke down on my way home from work yesterday. My neighbor (a mechanic) is going to look at it possibly tomorrow (maybe later). He thinks it may have blown a head gasket, which has already been replaced at least once on this car. And which I cannot really afford to replace. My sister dropped me off at work today and I am still trying to figure out how I will get home. (who is going to get me and whatnot). If anybody knows of anybody looking to get rid of their car for a reasonably low price let me know. My car problem is compounding my family's other car problems as my sister's car needs a water pump that they don't make any more and the other part needed to replace it is hard to get, our Big Van hasn't any brakes, and while my sister just took out a loan and got a fairly new jeep, her old car is having steering problems and we have no idea what is actually wrong with it. Oh and my dad's car was driven over the scales a few months ago. Why does it always seem that when one person starts to have car problems all the other cars start jumping up and down shouting "I'VE A PROBLEM TOO!!! ME TOO! ME TOO!"?
I am on page 470 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I haven't finished it yet because my brother-in-law and I were reading it aloud to my sisters until SM got the flu really bad (she's been throwing up since Sunday). I've managed to read more of it at one time today than so far, although I had to keep putting it down to help an 11-year old (I'm nannying 2 days a week this summer) beat the Knob Goblin on KOL. Don't tell me how it ends!
