Sick, Spry, Scary & Slow

Sick: I have has this chest cold/sinusy-thing for almost 6 weeks now. I don't currently have insurance, so I've been alternating Robitussin and Day/NyQuil and praying that it will go away. I have a feeling that it is so hard to get rid of because there are 25-odd little carrier monkeys distributing their germs to me on a daily basis. (I keep getting kissed by boys...too bad they're all under five...)

Spry: The mom of a preschooler and toddler at the center is studying to be a massage therapist, she needed to log some hours. Today she came and gave all the staff 25 minute massages. My back feels good and my stress-level decreased extraordinarily.

Scary & Slow: On my way home from work today, my brakes went out. I ended up traveling at 15 mph (with my Hazards on) so as I could stop (at lights and signs) in a "timely" manner. The scariest parts were when morons drove up behind me and rode my butt, as slippery as the roads were (weird salt and ice patterns everywhere) I was pryaing hard that I wouldn't get hit. I made it home safe; although I have no idea how I am going to get to work in the morning.
