It's almost Midterms....

And So far, I have an A or A- in every class!

I even got an 70/70 on a Math test! (I actually got two questions wrong, but I got the Bonus question correct and they canceled each other out!)!!!!!!!

Ballet is hard, but I've already lost 22lbs. I'm wearing a lot of drawstring pants and just tying them tighter, and I have an old pair of jeans that are just barely too tight to zip, so they are my current Goal - actually, my goal is for them to be loose.

I have 2 classes that have "this group is who you'll work with until the end of the semester" groups. I had one class Winter Semester that was the same way.  Supposedly it encourages us to "form a community/family" It is a crock of shit. Last winter, there was one girl I liked and the other people I could barely tolerate (although, they all liked me - my curse to bear), this semester, in one group, I strongly dislike every last one of my group members. They are lazy slackers. They picked me for their group because I am smarter than they are. Seriously, that is what the one girl said. I am older than all of them by several years.
My other group is actually pretty cool, but I am "the leader" in that group as well, even though I am actually not the oldest in that group, Marsha is 60-something.

I am liking Non-western lit, we just finished reading Haroun and the Sea of Stories. It was great! If you like Piers Anthony's Xanth, the Phantom Tollbooth, Jacob Two-two and the Hooded Fang, Children's Lit in general, or stories that spark your imagination, then you will most likely enjoy this book. For a second there i felt like I was on reading rainbow...you don't have to take my word for it! lol

I got a laptop, but I am still car-less and I am spending all my car ca$h on gas in other people's cars. (which sucks)

I have been up for way too long, on the computer for way too long, and am way too tired, so I am going to bed now that my Powerpoint is done saving (sheesh - it took like 15 minutes...) ttfn

ca$h, school, group projects, busy, car, books, grades
