Finally ^^
Well the car is finally fixed, and as expected, it was the starter. The final cost was $326, probly for all the stuff they had to remove to get to it. I test drove the car round the neighborhood and its driving great. I have pretty much mastered the stick. Twice I forgot to downshift to first, when I was driving in 3rd. Anywho, its great to be driving again and close to mastering the stick. All that is left is to attack the hills and I will be set.
