Orphaned Land, Folk metal hailing from the deserts of Isreal. One of the finest and few Eastern Folk metal bands around. They combine Progressive metal skills with traditional middle eastern folk elements and give the whole thing and epic story between Christianity, Judiasm, and Islam. Sure all their songs are religous but not in the sense of "become or jew or go to hell" more in the sense of drawing influece from the great religions of the middle east. The album "Mabool" is a must have for any folk metal fan, or metal fan in general, it is enjoyable even beyond just the novelty sense of a unique metal style.
