Sorry for a lack of updates the last couple of weeks, I’ve been taking care of the job-hunt issues as well as having to deal with some thorny entanglements that my former employer has tried to leave attached to me like proverbial toilet paper on my shoe, and it has taken some persistent shaking and scraping to try and get it all free and away.
I’m about finished with “Dark Faith” as well as having just finished reading the latest Jim Butcher Dresden novel, “Changes.” A review of “Changes” will be in another day or so, and the big “Dark Faith” review is a little after that.
The site also just went through some much-needed updates/upgrades, now running on WordPress 3.0 and assorted updated plugins. I like to try and keep things smooth around here, after all.
Finishing a new short story, “They All Went Back,” and got completely stuck on another one, “That’s All.”
Gary Braunbeck expressed interest in the latter as I talked to him about my frustrations with completing it, and now it looks like that one could become a new collaboration piece between us. If Gary can coax a great story out of this premise of mine with his usual depth and powerful prose, more power to the effort.
Thanks for keeping up.
