Its been an interesting week...
First off, a belated happy birthday wish to the loverly Rachet. I am quite sorry I didn't send this yesterday, on your actual birthday. Hope dinner was yummy!
Then last weekend, at the Halloween party, we were adopted by another cat. A big smoke grey tom-he's our new outdoor cat, named Yamako. He's a lovely cat, we expect he was someone's indoor cat, as he loves people and wants in the house. We've set him up a spot in the garage, he's got a flea collar, and loves to hang out with us when we're outside.
Work is a bit nuts now, I'm split between two departments and trying to get that settled. And the scandal going on in our department now is keeping things tense as well.
Then just this morning, our neighbors cat, a sweet, funny Persian named George(the cat, not the neighbor), was found dead in her driveway. It looks like he was killed, and brutally. This is disturbing, since we have lots of outdoor cats down here in Russell. She suspects a person, but Jim and I think an animal got a hold of George.
I gotta head off, do a bit of homework for tomorrow. And watch some football.
