The rumor mill is an evil thing. Whoever runs it should be shot, whoever constructed it should be hung, and whoever thought it up in the first place should be torn into tiny bits by a pack of rabid pygmy monkeys.
Seriously, people in my life are starting to have problems because of it, and that is very much NOT cool. I understand that the rumor mill produces far more than can be combated, but please, please, do not perpetuate it. I do not like people deciding "Oh, if that's what they believe of me, than that's what I'm going to become." It's not safe or smart at all. Be who you want to be and burn the rumor mill to the ground. Just don't get arrested for arson. Or murder for that matter, nasty people tend to make up the foundation of it.
Ah well, I'm sending good thoughts out to the people who are being hurt by it.
On the other hand...or is this a related issue? Why are there so many women who have to be so double-faced and give the rest of us a bad name? There's so many that like going all stereotypical and being evil and hysterical. *shudder* I want to just tie them in closets and leave them there.
Ok, I'm ranting on issues for now. I'm going to go order hot tea and calm down.
