A new Frerard in the works!
It's been fucking ages since I last wrote a Frerard and one of the last two I wrote ended up being total bullshit because I just didn't care much about it so I quickly wrote a crap ending and decided to call it done.
I HAVE A NEW IDEA, HOWEVER.
I'm not going to reveal too much about it but I will say that it's a Frerard (duh) and it's going to include a very minor side-pairing between Gerard and Davey (again) - the reason why I'm choosing Davey is because you guys responded so well to him being in the last fic so I figured I'd bring him in again. The side-pairing between Gerard and Davey contributes more to back story than events that will happen in the present story so there won't be a lot going on between them two - it'll all between Gerard and Frank. But there will be references to the past relationship (because, you know, past relationships shape who we are today and that plays a big part in the fic - just like Davey and Frank's past relationship shaped who Frank ended up being).
I don't want to give away the inspiration for the fic too soon but I can hint at what it is: it's a song off of a new album that was released earlier this month - and before you say Black Veil Brides...no. This story is not inspired by anything Black Veil Brides.
As always with my fics, they'll be heart-wrenching and make you cry and it'll be filled with lots of angst and just general darkness that makes people remember that, wow, the world is a pretty shitty place most of the time. No light at the end of this tunnel. Gerard's in way too deep for that.
