For all that I miss home terribly over the time I'm at school, I always forget how exceedingly boring it is here. (Which I suppose is a good thing--otherwise I wouldn't get those happy couple days or so where everything's nice and peachy). But now I look outside, and it's pine bracken, pine tree, deciduous tree, bush, other bush, neighbor's yard, neighbor's pile of snow that hasn't melted yet, ancient unused railroad tracks, dust, dirt, and BOREDOM. It would be nicer if the nearest place with reasonably entertaining places was less than a half-hour away, and I could drive, but neither of those are true. It would also help if I had friends who lived closer than Maine.
On a happier note, I can watch Law and Order online on my Netflix account. This pleases me.
