Well, here I am in BERKELEY-- AFI's hometown. I keep hoping to see Adam, Hunter, Davey or Jade walking along a sidewalk, but the only thing I've seen that has to do with AFI is the shirts being sold in Hot Topic downtown. I don't even know if AFI's in town right now. For all I know, they could be on tour. I haven't checked up on news about them in a long time. I am hoping to go to Peet's Coffee shop someday soon. My aunt tells me they have exquisite espressos. Oh and Jamba Juice! I love Jamba Juice. I wish we had it back in Michigan. Actually, we might have it in Detroit or something, but I live in BFE, so I wouldn't know.
Today I got a shirt that has two black and white faces on it that are smiling (man and woman) and look like they are from the fifties, and in the middle it says "We're all going to Hell" in nice cheery letters. ........ Well, I thought it was funny.
I went and saw Shakespeare's Henry IV on Friday, and I saw the man who played the main character, Prince Hal (Henry V), in Safeway. It was almost like seeing a celebrity walking the streets. Kind of.
Oh yes-- my cousins introduced me to Thrice and Muse this week. They're both quite good, and I would recommend listening to them.
