Winter Formal was last night. It was so much fun! I would have to say that it was by far my favorite of the 4 winter formals I have been to here at John Carroll. I knew so many people there and it was just a really really good time. I spent most of the time dancing and only took about 5-10 minutes to take a break. Anne Bernat was there which was wonderful, and Anna and I had a great time dancing together. I got a dance from Seth which was fun. We made our attempt at swing dancing. Neither of us know how to do it technically, but I got spun, so all was well and good... haha... even a lift at the end ;-) Getting to the dance was interesting - my car wouldn't start, lots of people on the shuttles so we ended up standing in the aisle (that's only kind of illegal, right? haha), and I couldn't get my make-up to look good at all. Despite all that, the dance was amazing. Thanks to everyone who made it such a good night! Today I was totally planning on doing work and it totally didn't happen. Oh well. Tom and I decided we'd be cool and spend the day in our pjs. Hey, when you're comfortable, you're comfortable. I changed to go to the men's basketball game, then afterwards I was definitely planning to come back to my room. Then I realized that it was good packing snow, so I suggested a snowball fight, and the war commenced. Obviously, my clothes were now soaking wet, so back to the pjs it was! haha... I love it. Although I did absolutely no work today, I'm okay with it. I'm glad it was a great past two days... I needed it. I even got to talk with my friend Chris today! yay! So, now that I spent the last two days having fun, tomorrow must be spent working. I have to correct two papers, work on a presentation, go to a million meetings (and by "a million," I mean about 3), study for a chem test that's on wednesday (yes.. finals week is next week. yes.. my chem teacher is a douchebag), and of course, have fun. Going to Red Circle on Thursday for bowling, getting about 3 free dinners over the course of the week, possibly tobogganing on Friday, the usual RISK game before finals.... and other such things. I will be one busy person. Then next week I have 6 finals... yippee... lol. AH! SUCH a great weekend! I love my friends!
